Altyion is the Nether god responsible for the creation of the Realm of Aethyr together with his partner, Athyna.

He is a Celestial being of unmeasurable power, yet much like Athyna, when the Entity appeared seeking to devour all, he was forced to retreat into a dormant state to this day.

Personality

Althyon is a stoic and calm deity, often described as the definition of "death comes for us all".

He has an aura about him of mysticism as one would expect from God, but this is also accompanied with a certain sadness regarding the inevitability of the end of all things.

As if he had already seen the entire timeline of the universes' existence.

As if he knows that his end will come eventually, and all he can do is attempt to slow it down for the sole sake of his creations.

This permanent status of mourning is what defines him the most, but so does his care and love for life itself, having a great respect for all beings that make the most out of their lives.

Despite this fact, he is often described as an etheral and welcoming being, much like a caring father.

He cares greatly for his creations but was never too involved with them as he chose a path of deatchment given his role in the circle of life.

Althyon is a divine being, and as such he can choose his own form at will, at any moment.

This form is often that of an obsidian jet black dragon, of sharp plates adorning his body, with gilded markings similar to kintsugi that shimmer with a metallic sheen, and seem to always change every time one glances at him.

His horns have a sharp blade shape, facing outward then forwards much like a sharp-edged sickle.

His moves are often slow and deliberate, delicate and graceful.
