Born from Nether, Argent is the element of metal, which represents stability, honesty, confidence and pride. Dragons of this element are quite lively, and always self-assured, often strong minded and gifted with strong personalities. They are highly intellectual and very quick to take advantage of any chance life throws at them.

Young Argent dragons discover their element when they wish to create something, and accidentally draw from any metal around them and shape it to their thoughts into something very basic and simple like a cube or an orb. It is not uncommon for hatchlings to awaken to their element while playing with toys or out in the open as they try to build things.
This element is primarily used via manipulation, and solely from existing sources outside of the dragon itself.

Manipulation of metal comes natural to Argent dragons, often without the need for fire unless they wish to mix them to create alloys.
It is still a time-consuming and complex ability that requires a lot of dedication and contenctration from the Argent dragon, with the larger pieces costing much more mana than smaller ones.
The finesse of how these metals are shaped also costs concentration and energy, especially keeping alloys pure or crafting distinct items.
Some Argent dragons specialize in certain specific metals or alloys they find easier to manipulate than others, though training is usually generalized and any metal can be used to certain degrees, with mastery playing the most important part in the quality if the result. A young dragon may easily exhaust their mana, but the result will always match their skill.

Dragons of this element are also capable of manipulating their element into armor and weapons, or even projectiles at higher masteries, much like dragons of Frost.
Most are able of pulling existing pure metals and shape them with relative ease, by way of levitation or crude but brief shaping. Anything that takes finesse is often left to older dragons with higher levels of experience, and thus true argent manipulation is a field dominated by those who have worked with their elements for many years.
They can also create alloys but this will often require the aid of fire to combine pure metals into new ones.

This element is classified by colors related to the most common metals, however due to its magical nature, metals can also take on new colors of their own. It displays a soft color glow when breathed or around affected metals when being manipulated.

Argent dragons hail from the Copper Deserts, currently under the Royal House of Silver Sun, having a favorable yet neutral political stance with all other realms.
